The growing number of overweigh people is putting a strain on health system to dealing with the health issues. Some people think that best ways to deal with this problem in introduce more physical education lessons in the school curriculum.

To what extend do you agree or disagree.

In the contemporary era, the increasing number of overweight individuals is becoming a serious concern worldwide, putting a significant strain on healthcare systems. Some argue that introducing more physical education lessons in school curriculums is the best way to address this issue. While I agree that physical education is essential, I believe that other measures should also be taken to combat this problem.

To begin with, physical education lessons in schools can indeed play a crucial role in promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people. Regular physical activity can help students develop good exercise habits that they can carry throughout their lives. Moreover, physical education classes can encourage students to try different sports and physical activities, which can be both fun and beneficial for their overall well-being. For instance, playing sports can help reduce stress and anxiety while improving social skills and teamwork.

Furthermore, while physical education is crucial, it alone may not be sufficient to tackle the growing obesity epidemic. In addition to school-based programs, community-level interventions and policies are also essential to promote healthy lifestyles. For example, cities can create more accessible and safe walking and biking paths, parks, and playgrounds to encourage people to exercise regularly. Moreover, policymakers should also consider measures such as taxing unhealthy foods and drinks, which can discourage people from consuming these items.

On the other hand, some may argue that physical education classes may not be effective in promoting healthy lifestyles, as students may not enjoy participating in sports or may not have access to proper facilities. In such cases, alternative methods, such as incorporating more nutrition education into school curriculums, may be more effective. For example, students can learn about the importance of a balanced diet, the benefits of healthy eating habits, and how to make healthier food choices.

In conclusion, while physical education classes can play a vital role in promoting a healthy lifestyle, other measures should also be taken to tackle the growing obesity epidemic. Community-level interventions and policies, along with nutrition education, can complement physical education programs to ensure a comprehensive approach. It can be suggested that policymakers and educators work together to develop a multi-faceted approach to promote healthy lifestyles and combat the negative effects of obesity-related health issues.

Some people argue that technological inventions, such as smartphones, are making people socially less interactive.

Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

In the contemporary era, technology has taken over almost every aspect of our lives, including social interactions. Some people argue that technological inventions, such as smartphones, are making people socially less interactive. However, others believe that technology has improved communication and social connectivity. In my opinion, while technology has its benefits, it has also caused a decline in face-to-face communication.

To begin with, technology has led to a decline in face-to-face communication. With the rise of social media platforms, people tend to communicate through messages, posts, and comments instead of having a conversation in person. This lack of interaction can result in social isolation and can make people feel lonely. For example, a study conducted by the American Psychological Association found that increased use of social media is linked to higher rates of depression and anxiety. As a result, people need to maintain their face-to-face communication skills.

On the other hand, technology has also made it easier to connect with people who are geographically far away. For instance, video conferencing apps like Zoom and Skype have made it possible for people to have meetings and catch up with friends and family who live in different parts of the world. Moreover, social media platforms provide an opportunity to connect with people with similar interests and passions, leading to the formation of new friendships and communities.

Having discussed both the arguments, I personally infer that while technology has made communication easier, it has also led to a decline in face-to-face communication skills, which are vital for building and maintaining relationships. For example, when people rely heavily on social media and messaging apps, they may forget how to express themselves, read social cues, and listen actively during in-person interactions. Therefore, it is crucial to strike a balance between using technology to connect with others and engaging in face-to-face communication.

In conclusion, technology has both positive and negative effects on social interactions. While it has made it easier to communicate with people who are far away, it has also led to a decline in face-to-face communication. It is important to be aware of these effects and to find a balance between using technology to connect with others and engaging in face-to-face communication. To ensure that technology does not erode our social skills, we should prioritize in-person interactions and make time for them in our daily lives.

( Band 9 | Double question essay| 10th January) Image by Pexels Sample Answer 1 The past thirty years have witnessed a significant increase in car ownership worldwide, resulting in constant traffic jams in many cities. In my opinion, this statement is accurate since the number of cars on the roads has grown exponentially, leading to traffic congestion, air pollution, and other related problems. To address this issue, governments need to take measures to discourage people from owning cars and encourage the use of public transportation. One of the main reasons for the increase in car ownership is the rise in personal income and standard of living. As people become wealthier, they are more likely to purchase cars for their convenience and...

Some countries have legal ages at which people can drink. Other countries believe not have strict laws is a better policy. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion. ( Band 9 discussion IELTS essay | 9th January) Image by  pexels Sample Answer 1 The legal age for drinking is a controversial topic worldwide. Some countries enforce strict laws regarding the legal age for drinking, while others believe that having flexible laws is a better policy. In my opinion, having a legal age for drinking can be beneficial, but the severity of the law depends on the country's culture and social norms. One cause of having a legal age for drinking is to reduce the number of drunken driving incidents. Young adults who consume alcohol are more likely to engage in risky activities like driving under the influence. For instance, in the United States, the legal age for drinking is 21, and since the law's implementation, the number of drunken driving accidents has significantly reduced. On t...

While some view it as a way to add color and character to urban areas, others see it as vandalism that defaces public and private property. In this essay, we will explore both sides of the argument and come to a conclusion about whether cities should allow for spaces for graffiti.
